Neuroscientists by Day – Communicators by Night

scicomm.jpgTo scicomm or not to scicomm?! We were invited to talk about why it is important to invest in science communication and outreach by ‘Wissenschaft im Dialog’.

Why are we scientists who …? In short, to understand development, we need the support of children and families who participate in our studies, but also the support of funding agencies and the community. In return, they deserve to understand:

1) why their participation/funding/support matters

2) what our research is about

3) what we find (results)

And ultimately, science is meant for all! Read the full interview & our answers, partly serious/partly fun, at:
